Lights and Waves
I figured it might be a good idea to actually post something new that Vinyl Thief has done, especially since this is one of those projects that they have been building up. Also, this is the newest thing they have done since the release of their most recent “Control-EP”, over a year ago.
“Lights and Waves” is the last single released by Vinyl Thief (not counting christmas specials and april fools jokes), only this time it has been preformed in a semi-acoustic manner. Except they did the same acoustic version of this song in October of 2010, which is quite some time ago, for those of you who have no concept of time. You can get that here: http://www.mediafire.com/?lll246uxytbu2 if you are the sentimental type.

Jeff the Brotherhood made it onto Pitchfork!
The only reason I read Pitchfork album reviews is to celebrate the emergence of little known bands into “mainstream indie culture”. This is one of those moments. Gotta love Jeff the Brotherhood.

Blu ft. Jack Davey: Everything’s OK
I’ve been getting really excited about what’s going to come from Blu after his somewhat mediocre album with Exile and strong couple of tracks from The Roots latest album, and who is now making is Major Label debut. Here’s one of the songs from the new album, which is produced by Flying Lotus. Above that is a video of another song that was released from the album.
